I will never understand why marching percussion instruments sound this way. Really dislike the bass drum sounds. I know you need definition of the note values for the genre, but I’ve found cardboard boxes with better sound. Not talking about Eric’s instruments only. In general. Favourite is the tenors.

Great video. I think the practice pad (my favorite drum as well) was a bit louder because it’s resting on the tenors.
