Ok, what middle schoolers are ever taught thumb rolls??? I wasn’t even taught that till late high school lol

I’m a sophomore in college going for percussion performance and my middle and high schools never taught any of this but they would be like “here’s the music figure it out on your own” and now in college they go over stuff like thumb rolls in class. Everything is messed up
